Overview

Umbral es una puerta de acceso de doble sentido. A través de ella se accede al interior de los relatos que lo componen, pero también estos relatos acceden a su través a la mente del lector. No obstante, este doble sentido que anuncia el título del libro no acaba aquí, ni mucho menos. Autor, narradores, personajes e incluso las tramas acceden de un lugar a otro del objeto literario en un apasionante juego de espejos que se mantiene de un cuento a otro, de una voz a otra, durante todo el trayecto narrativo.

Diego Silvera, apoyándose en mitos literarios como el del dopplegänger, en las últimas investigaciones de la mecánica cuántica y en fábulas folclóricas de ancestrales orígenes, ha construido una antología de relatos como quien elabora una compleja estructura de muñecas rusas.
